Following on from its release on Xbox One last April, Wired Production's Deliver Us The Moon will be getting a free next-generation upgrade later this year.
In the official announcement, it was confirmed this update would include ray-traced shadows, reflections and audio, and that it would be entirely free for all existing owners of the game.
Here's a brief rundown about what to expect, for those who haven't played it before (via the Microsoft Store):
"Deliver Us The Moon is a Sci-Fi thriller set in an apocalyptic near future, where Earth's natural resources are depleted. A lunar colony providing a vital supply of energy has gone silent. A lone astronaut is sent to the moon on a critical mission to save humanity from extinction. Will you save mankind or be forgotten in the dark abyss of Space?"

Fantastic news! I wasn't planning on playing through this again this soon, but this game surprised the most so far on Game Pass (in a positive way). I only wonder if it'll still be on Game Pass then.
I have this downloaded and waiting to be played. I might as well wait for the update, hopefully it doesn't leave game pass before that happens.
@gollumb82 Agreed. Played this on game pass and really enjoyed it. Immersive world, beautiful graphics and decent story. Recommended
I knew ray-traced audio was a thing, I just don't think I have ever heard of a game that actually uses it.
I am very curious to know the difference.
EDIT: It appears Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on PC used it as well. Not sure about the console version.
ANOTHER EDIT: Did some research, and it's basically like EAX from back in the day only on steroids.
I have to try this game, It's on gamepass but there's so many games you don't know where to start..
