Free-To-Play Shooter Warframe Is Getting An Xbox Series X Upgrade This April

The team behind the free-to-play co-op shooter Warframe announced last year that the game would be getting a next-gen upgrade for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and now it looks like it's been locked in for April.

This was announced as part of Warframe's latest developer stream, with no specific date set as of yet:

Back in November of 2020, it was revealed that Warframe would run at "up to 4K resolution and 60FPS" on next-gen consoles when it arrives, complete with "dramatic, dynamic lighting" made possible by a new enhanced renderer, along with improved texture quality and improved loading times. Sounds impressive!

We'll be sure to let you know when we've got a concrete date for this one.
