Earlier this month, a page listing for Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse appeared on the Microsoft Store.
It's now been officially confirmed Apsyr - the same team behind recent Star Wars ports like Star Wars Episode 1 Racer - will be bringing the game to Xbox One and multiple other platforms on 16th March 2021 and can be pre-ordered now.
The title will be available through backwards compatibility on the Xbox Series X|S. The PR further states how the game "remains flawless and unchanged". In saying this, it will include achievements (as previously revealed) and modernised controls.
For those who didn't play this one back in 2005, the task is to eat brains, build a zombie horde, possess the city of Punchbowl and, in general, bring civilization to its knees. You can also enjoy some co-op couch play.

I still have my original disc. I remember playing it and thinking, this feels like Halo with a Zombie skin, come to find out the same developers worked on it. Really looking forward to playing it again!
@Nermannn
Haha also if I remember it ran on the halo one engine
@Terrin The cover
@Vincent294 hahaha I never looked at the cover for that game in years.. has any other game put built on an engine right there.. weird
So apart from modernised controls and achievements, this is going to look and run exactly like it did on the OG Xbox? Why? Even back then the graphics looked terrible and it had performance issues, you’d think they’d update it a bit. Despite this I absolutely loved it on the OG Xbox and I’ll be getting this day one. It seems reasonably priced at £16.74, I’ve got the option to redeem £10 with Microsoft Reward points. So £6.74? It’s a no-brainer! (Pun intended).
@MaccaMUFC the original game is about 50p in CEX. 17 quid isn't reasonably priced for a game just with added achievements and nothing else

@NemesisSam30 Try £75. I just looked on CEX and couldn’t believe it was that price. So I stand by my previous comment that I’m getting it for a bargain with £6.74. If anyone has got a copy here in the UK, CEX they are offering £43 cash.
@MaccaMUFC Actual fckers. When I looked last week it was 50p. They've shot the price up with this announcement. It was in the bargain bin.
@MaccaMUFC I can believe it from a company who supports scalpers by buying and reselling PS5s and Xbox series X at grossly excessive prices though. Not to mention they charge 70 quid for a ps4 version of Miles Morales. The ps5 version is 39 quid and hardly anyone can even get the console!
@NemesisSam30 How can CEX justify putting it up for £75 when the digital version will be £16.74? It makes absolutely no sense. I don’t know how they get away with their pricing of pre-owned goods. I can’t stand the company the sooner they close down the better, it should only be a matter of time.
