Xbox Series X Stock To Remain Low Until Second Half Of 2021, Suggests AMD CEO

Microsoft revealed during its latest earnings call earlier this week that it was expecting Xbox Series X stock to remain "constrained" over the next few months, and AMD CEO Lisa Su has echoed those comments.

Speaking during AMD’s fourth-quarter earnings call earlier this week (thanks VGC), Su acknowledged that the gaming markets have been experiencing supply constraints, and she believes that will continue for now.

“It’s fair to say that the overall demand exceeded our planning and as a result, we did have some supply constraints as we ended the year. Those were primarily, I would say, in the PC market, the low end of the PC market and in the gaming markets.

“That being said, I think we’re getting great support from our manufacturing partners. The industry does need to increase the overall capacity levels and so we do see some tightness through the first half of the year, but there is added capacity in the second half.”

Su's comments are not unexpected, as various members of team Xbox have indicated over the past few months that they anticipate supply issues for the time being, but hopefully things will pick up sooner rather than later!

When do you think the supply situation will return to normal? Give us your thoughts down below.
