The final UK boxed charts roundup of 2020 has arrived, revealing that CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 dropped out of the top ten for the first time, and the top spot went to Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Like many games that suffered sales drops over the New Year period, Cyberpunk 2077 recorded a 66% sales fall, dropping to 15th in the process. The biggest surprise was the return of GTA V, which climbed up to 9th.
Here's a look at the top ten all formats chart for the week ending January 2nd:

Damn, That's a quick drop off for Cyberpunk.. I wonder if people are waiting for patches or they genuinely not interested in the game..
Looks like a lot of kids got a Switch for Christmas.
5 games in the top 10 for them. And that's with no price drop for the base console unless many people got the Lite.
Not shocked by Cyberpunk. Many people will have had a refund or traded in waiting for the game to be fixed, and no doubt reduced at that point.
