Got an Nvidia Shield TV? Well, it looks like you can be getting some extra mileage out of it as it now supports the use of the new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S controllers.
According to the recent firmware update, users are now able to quickly pair the controller with the TV system simply by activating its Bluetooth pairing mode and using the pair button on top of the Xbox Series X controller.
The benefit of this, as The Verge rightfully points out, is that users will be able to play PC and Android games via Nvidia’s GeForce Now streaming service on their TV using the new controllers. Good stuff!

Ok, nice. You can stream xbox cloud games to a nintendo switch with android installed. So you can play xbox games on a switch, now that's really nice
Should definitely be mentioned that Xcloud works wonderfully on this device. It's how I've gotten my Forza fix for a while now, very convenient and versatile device!
So what is this thing? Is it an actual device or just another subscription service?
@Krzzystuff the Nvidia Shield Tv is an android based streaming device in the vein of a Roku or Chromecast. Biggest difference is it actual has gaming level internals (about as powerful as a Switch) so it can easily run games/emulators/streaming services much better than a $30 device you get on Amazon. Also with it being Android you can easily install all of the same apps you could on a phone such as Stadia, Xcloud, Luna etc which makes it a very useful and versatile little "console".
GeForce now however is an actual streaming service like those that allow you to stream Steam games to various devices.
@redd214 greatly appreciate the info!
@Krzzystuff You're welcome, always happy to help!
