It's a toss between Halo 3 and Halo Reach.
Halo 3 is my vote..
Halo 3... Feels old man
Halo 4 for me actually. That ending was awesome.
Halo 1 is my favorite, but the Anniversary Edition wasn’t as good.
I also would give a shout out to Halo Wars, as that game is underrated.
Halo 3 for me too....
I know it's a rogue choice but I never got on with the main Halos that much. Reach was better, but ODST did something really different any I loved that. Probably the only person who will vote for it!
I actually liked 4 quite a bit, but 3 wins cause multiplayer is better. Reach multiplayer is best but 3 has a funner campaign in my opinion. Wars is a great spinoff, let's just say I'm not shocked Spartan Assault has no votes.
It's between Halo 3 and Reach for me; both are exceptional games. This is one of my favorite franchises of all time, but I was very let down by Halo 5. I really hope Infinite brings back what made the original trilogy special.
Just know that when Spartan Assault goes from 0% to 1%, I'll hunt down whoever made that happen. 🤮
Halo 3. It felt so epic when it came out. I played through the whole thing the week it came out.
@VenomousAlbino
It’s up to 3%!!! What the.....? Lol!!
Yea we need to go John Wick on those people. 😂
@KelticDevil I despair, I really do.
@Gunonaboat I really think Xbox needs to create/task a team to make spinoff Halo games like ODST and Reach. Halo has a big enough pull to shorten it's release window and it would give flexibility to make more stories and styles outside of the Master Chief line.
for me its a toss up between halo 3 , halo 3 ODST and halo reach
As of dec 19, 735pm pst. Gamstop has xbsx holiday bundle. Console, extra controller, valhalla, 2k21, 3month gpu, $735+tax. Delivery jan 5-10
@John117 That's what worries me a bit. Trying new things with your main protagonist can really bite you in the rear. Just look at Halo 5. People didn't like the campaign because it weirdly focused on Locke rather than Chief and did the 4 man squad thing from Republic Commando. I think if Locke's story was a standalone game it would have been recieved well.
They need to do the same thing as Playground Studios and Turn 10 does with Forza. Motorsports focuses specifically on making what they know works better and Horizon is allowed to go off the deep end and try new stuff.
I have always been a fan of ODST, something about that campaign was one of the best IMO, my favorite from the 360 era.
@Gunonaboat I voted for ODST too. I love all of the Halo games (even 5, yes) but ODST was just so different that I can't help but give it the nod as my favorite.
Halo 3 is the best all-around game of these entries though campaign wise I'd say it's second after Reach. Big fan of all the Bungie-made Halo games, ODST included.
