As if enhancing Gears 5 for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S with 120FPS multiplayer wasn't enough, The Coalition has revealed that it has a lot more planned for the game over the next couple of months (via IGN).

At the launch of Gears 5 for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on November 10th, you'll be able to take advantage of a New Game+, bringing two new difficulty modes (Ironman and Inconceivable), character skins, weapon skins, mutators, new Achievements and more to its campaign.

Popular ex-WWE star Batista will also be joining the campaign after originally being added to Gears 5 multiplayer back in 2019, now included as an optional skin for Marcus Fenix with all-new voiceover.

In terms of Versus, Operation 5 will allow players to choose which class they want to apply to which character (which was actually revealed some time ago), and The Coalition says it has aspirations to make its future Operations have stronger themes to tie any content or maps together.

And finally, Gears 5 is confirmed to be getting story DLC in December, titled "Hivebusters" (as rumoured earlier this year). It'll have an estimated playtime of 3-4 hours, will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and will be optimised for next-gen, with more details set to be shared in early December.

Phew! Which of these additions are you most excited for? Let us know in the comments.
