We actually already knew what the retail design looked like (it was shown off a few weeks ago), but this marks the first time we've seen a proper photo of it. And now we just want it even more.
The back looks fantastic as well, emblazoned with a huge Master Chief, and detailing the console's features including Xbox Velocity Architecture, backwards compatibility and of course, Xbox Game Pass.
Seriously, these next few weeks are going to feel long.

These next few months are going to feel long for me (waiting 3 months to buy). February can't come soon enough!
Cyberpunk 2077 should help fill that void for a little while.
It could come in a recycled generic plain cardboard box (as long as the contents are well packaged so as not to get damaged in transit) as far as I am concerned. I will see the box for about 10mins before its put away in some cupboard, never to be seen again - at least until the Series X goes into storage many years later...
With four and a half long weeks left to wait, at this point it could come in a damn bin liner for all I care.
I'm excited! So happy the I'm now in the countdown stage for the launch of the Xbox Series X.

I'm with @BAMozzy here. Pointless box that will go into the loft, probably until I move house, but for some reason it is still properly exciting nonetheless.

@FraserG i know. And thats a bit weird if you ask me. It would be one thing if it was just a discless version of the x, but its not. Its weaker. So how will it handle the enhanced pre gen games? There is to many ? 🧐
Looks cool but as @BAMozzy said, once I have taken the X out of it I will just stash it away somewhere for a few years at least. Can't wait to get it though! Got the XSX and Cyberpunk 2077 pre-ordered to start next gen with a bang
I am counting days until cyberpunk 41 more days to wait can't get here soon enough. When the X gets here I'm not even buying any new games. I am going to get it set up in the living room and play games I already have until the 19. I was thinking about getting Valhalla but I don't want to play it for a week and then start something new. I have 11 days off in a row starting the 19 it's weird how that worked out.
