Dontnod Entertainment and Square Enix have announced today that they're making the first episode of 2018 episodic adventure Life is Strange 2 permanently available for free on Xbox.
The first episode of the game gives you access to around three hours of gameplay, which starts after a tragic incident forces brothers Sean and Daniel Diaz to run away from home.
This isn't the first time we've had a chance to try the episode for free - it's had a free trial on Xbox ever since its release back in 2018 - but the first episode has never been given away in its entirety until now.
After a tragic incident, brothers Sean and Daniel Diaz run away from home. Fearing the police, and dealing with Daniel's new telekinetic power, the boys head to Mexico. Each stop on their journey brings new friends and new challenges.

I might get this to check it out....
Overall, I liked this sequel better than the first game. It just felt more earnest, and I liked the main mechanic better as well.
Don't forget to play Captain Spirit (also free) as well to get the full story and augment the experience.
I still need to play these games. Damn backlog. Lol.
