Halo Fans Have Raised Over $430k For GlobalGiving's COVID-19 Relief Fund

We mentioned yesterday that Halo fans had raised $38,000 for Project C.U.R.E in April by ordering cameos from Master Chief voice actor Steve Downes. Now, the official Halo Twitter account has announced that over $430,000 (!) has been raised for the GlobalGiving Coronavirus Relief Fund as well.

This time, the money was raised via purchases of a special #WeGotThisSpartans shirt from Meta Threads, as well as a Relief & Recovery REQ DLC Pack for Halo 5: Guardians.

Needless to say, this is another incredible effort from Halo fans across the world! GlobalGiving also took to its Twitter account earlier today to thank the community, issuing the following message:

HUGE thanks to all the #gamers across the globe that joined @metathreads and @Halo to support #COVID19 relief! Now that's how you turn virtual fun into global solidarity.

How great is this?! Let us know what you think of this fantastic effort in the comments below.
