At Microsoft's Inside Xbox event earlier this month, the company announced multiple new titles coming to its Xbox Game Pass service in the near future. One of these was Sega's Yakuza Kiwami.

The game, which is a remake of the first installment in the action-adventure beat 'em up series, is now available to download on Xbox Game Pass via Xbox One and the Microsoft Storefront.

You'll require 22.33 GB of free space to download it on your Xbox One, or 46.77 GB if you're installing it on Windows. If you're more interested in owning it, you can pick it up for $19.99 USD (or the regional equivalent).

And for anyone who hasn't played this game before, here's a little backstory:

To save his best friend, Kazuma Kiryu takes the fall for a crime he didn’t commit, and ends up with a 10-year prison sentence. After being released, Kiryu finds himself expelled from his yakuza family, and alone in a world he no longer recognizes.

Events take a turn for the worse when 10 billion yen vanishes from the vault of the Tojo Clan, Kiryu's former yakuza family, igniting a war in the red-light district of Kamurocho. Together with a mysterious girl named Haruka, Kiryu must fight to survive and uncover the truth hidden amidst the chaos surrounding them.
