It's an exciting time for Xbox fans far and wide as we get closer to the launch of its next-generation hardware. More of Microsoft's first-party studios are obviously gearing up for some big projects as well.

With this in mind, it appears Inxile (stylised as inXile) – the developer currently working on Wasteland 3 – has recently filled a senior producer role for an unannounced next-gen project. This information comes directly from Inxile, via the same source that shared information about The Initiative's secret project.

As noted in the original tweet, the role was asking for an individual who had experience with large "AAA" teams, distributed/remote development, and would be able to deliver a polished and "highly rated game" on time and on budget.

This all seemingly links up to a story at the end of last month, when the Inxile Entertainment Studio Head Brian Fargo confirmed his team was developing an "ambitious" role-playing project. It also follows the news that the release of Wasteland 3 has been delayed until 28th August 2020, due to logistical challenges.

What "ambitious" RPG would you like to see from Inxile once it's done with Wasteland 3? Tell us below.
