It's only been six days since the release of the fantastic Ori and the Will of the Wisps for Xbox One and PC, and already, speedrunners are blasting their way through it. Kotaku reported earlier today about a speedrun that clocks in at 1 hour and 37 seconds, but we think we might have found one that's even quicker.

Let's start with the first one. As you can see in the video above, the speedrunner Isaia makes use of a glitch that allows them to jump further than usual. This means they can bypass obstacles and gaps that would usually take a lot longer to clear, hence speeding up the run.

The second speedrun comes courtesy of YouTuber Pettyboss, who posted a new PB of 46 minutes and 18 seconds on his channel yesterday. Interestingly Isaia noted in the description for their video that the "world record is unknown" due to the leaderboards not yet being available, but it seems like the Pettyboss run might have taken the Any% world record crown for now. You can see it below:

Regardless, both of these are really fast runs. Over at How Long To Beat, the average time for beating the game currently stands at just over 10 hours, while even rushed playthroughs are around 8-9. We're sure this is just the tip of the iceberg for Will of the Wisps speedrunning, but it's an impressive start nonetheless.

How many hours have you put into Ori and the Will of the Wisps so far? Tell us in the comments.
