After No Man's Sky, Hello Games Is Getting Cosy With The Last Campfire This Summer

No Man's Sky developer Hello Games has announced it's putting out a new puzzle-adventure style game for Xbox One later this summer. The game, which is called The Last Campfire, was originally revealed via a teaser trailer all the way back in 2018, but has only now finally received a release date.

The Last Campfire "follows the story of Ember, a lost soul in a puzzling environment, attempting to find meaning and their way home." Here's a little more of what Sean Murray at Hello Games had to say about it via Xbox Wire:

"It is a game about rekindling hope in a hopeless world. The team behind The Last Campfire wanted the player to become lost within a storybook world, travelling through beautiful environments, meeting strange and unusual characters in a heartfelt story about finding hope."

You can take a look at the new trailer for the game above, which we're really looking forward to getting our hands on later this year. And don't worry -- if you're an avid fan of No Man's Sky, Hello Games have also confirmed they'll continue to be working on the game "for some time yet".
