Summer Game Fest 2025 Livestream: Date, Start Times & What To Expect

It's that time of year again where absolutely everything is kicking off in the gaming world - as we recently detailed in our big summer showcase guide covering every Xbox event taking place in June. However, one of the biggest events these days is Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest livestream, which brings together lots of exciting reveals across pretty much every gaming platform on the planet - including Xbox.

You'll want to be tuning into that, then - which is why we've thrown together a handy guide about when SGF 2025 takes place, the show's exact livestream times, and a little bit about what we can expect from the event. Let's get stuck in!

Summer Game Fest 2025 Date

The Summer Game Fest 2025 livestream officially takes place on Friday, June 6th.

However, with the show being later in the day, certain regions will be tuning in during the early hours of June 7th.

Summer Game Fest 2025 Start Time

The Summer Game Fest 2025 livestream kicks off at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm BST on Friday, June 6th.

The show will be immediately followed up by the 'Day of the Devs' livestream, which you can read more about below.

How Long Is The Summer Game Fest Livestream?

The exact length of Summer Game Fest 2025 hasn't been revealed at the time of writing, but we're expecting the event to be roughly two hours long - as it was last year.

Summer Game Fest 2025: Where To Watch

You can catch the Summer Game Fest 2025 showcase in all the usual places - both Twitch and YouTube already have the event listed and ready to go ahead of its air time on June 6th.

We'll also be hosting the YouTube version here at Pure Xbox, complete with a live chatroom where you can comment on the livestream as it happens!

Summer Game Fest 2025: What To Expect

As we alluded to up at the top, the SGF livestream usually contains announcements for all of the major platforms, so not all of the two-hour show will be strictly relevant for Xbox players.

Even so, Geoff's recent 'hype trailer' confirmed appearances from titles such as Mafia: The Old Country, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the Game Pass-bound Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and more - so there'll be plenty to go at for Xbox fans!

Looking back to last year, the 2024 event also had lots of Xbox related announcements - including Game Pass reveals, Xbox announcements for Alan Wake 2: Night Springs, VALORANT, New World: Aeternum, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions and more.

It's going to be one of the most exciting evenings in the gaming calendar for Xbox fans, closely following the Xbox Games Showcase of course, which comes top of the pile. We've got more on that event and what to expect from Microsoft down below.
