Best EA Play Games Available With Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Microsoft and Electronic Arts teamed up earlier this month to bring EA Play to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, bolstering the premium subscription with an additional 80+ games including some true Xbox classics.

There are loads of great titles to check out as part of the subscription, spanning a wide range of genres, but we've picked out just a small few that we think you should definitely check out with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

A Way Out (Xbox One)

This exhilarating co-op adventure first dropped on Xbox One back in 2018, and delivers a memorable story packed with extremely varied gameplay. You can only play it with two players - either online or locally on the couch - but we highly suggest finding someone to play, as it's a highly entertaining way to spend six hours-or-so.

From the creators of Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons comes A Way Out, an exclusively co-op adventure where you play the role of one of two prisoners making their daring escape from prison. What begins as a thrilling breakout quickly turns into an unpredictable, emotional adventure unlike anything seen or played before.

Battlefield V (Xbox One)

Battlefield V is the most recent entry in the popular franchise, releasing back in November 2018. The shooter is based around World War 2, and features a single-player War Stories mode, along with plenty of multiplayer modes including the vast Grand Operations and the cooperative Combined Arms. Great for FPS fans!

Enter mankind’s greatest conflict with Battlefield™ V as the series goes back to its roots in a never-before-seen portrayal of World War 2. Take on all-out multiplayer across the world, single player War Stories, and Firestorm – Battle Royale, reimagined for Battlefield.

Burnout Paradise Remastered (Xbox One)

Some might have been surprised by EA's decision to remaster 2008's Burnout Paradise for Xbox One rather than the even more beloved Burnout 3 back in 2018, but this is nevertheless a fantastic remaster of a great arcade racer. If you enjoy slamming into opponents and driving really, really fast - this is for you.

Welcome back to Paradise City! Make action your middle name as you rule the streets in Burnout™ Paradise Remastered! Tear it up in the ultimate driving playground, from hectic downtown avenues to the wild mountain roads. Relive the high-octane stunts and wanton destruction of one of the greatest arcade-driving games ever!

Dead Space (Xbox 360)

Well over a decade since it first released for the Xbox 360, Dead Space is still considered one of the scariest and most thrilling survival horror games in the history of the platform. You can debate which of the three games is the best, but this is the original, so we highly recommend checking this one out first on EA Play with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

A massive deep-space mining ship goes dark after unearthing a strange artifact on a distant planet. Engineer Isaac Clarke embarks on the repair mission, only to uncover a nightmarish blood bath — the ship's crew horribly slaughtered and infected by alien scourge. Now Isaac is cut off, trapped, and engaged in a desperate fight for survival.

Dragon Age: Inquisition (Xbox One)

Dragon Age: Inquisition actually launched in the early days of the Xbox One back in 2014 - yes, it's been that long since we were last treated to a new Dragon Age game! Fortunately, this one is excellent, so we highly recommend going back and checking it out with EA Play, especially if you never got around to it six years ago.

You are the Inquisitor, tasked with saving the world from itself. But the road ahead is paved with difficult decisions. Thedas is a land of strife. Factions constantly war with each other even as a larger demonic invasion has begun. And you? You and your band of champions are the only ones who can hold it together. It’s your job to lead them...or fall.

FIFA 20 (Xbox One)

EA Sports' FIFA series is ridiculously popular all over the world, and while the latest entry (FIFA 21) isn't currently available with EA Play as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, there's still plenty to enjoy in this one, including the street-focused Volta mode, the ever-popular Ultimate Team and much, much more.

FIFA 20 innovates across the game, FOOTBALL INTELLIGENCE unlocks an unprecedented platform for gameplay realism, FIFA Ultimate Team™ offers more ways to build your dream squad, and EA SPORTS VOLTA returns the game to the street, with an authentic form of small-sided football.

Fight Night Champion (Xbox 360)

Can you believe it's been almost a decade since EA last released a boxing game for Xbox? It used to be a regular thing with the Fight Night series, but Fight Night Champion was the last entry to date - fortunately, it remains playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S through backwards compatibility. If you're a boxing fan, this is for you.

History will be made with this revolutionary iteration that builds upon the best-in-class gameplay and physics engine of Fight Night Round 4, while immersing you in a world of brutality, uncertainty, betrayal, and redemption. Survive the brutal road to redemption with Fight Night Champion.

Madden NFL 20 (Xbox One)

Like the aforementioned FIFA 20, Madden NFL 20 also isn't the latest entry in the series, but nevertheless provides countless hours of fun if you're not too bothered about some of the newest features and rosters. Ultimate Team is included as standard, as is a "personalized career campaign" known as QB 1, so there's plenty to keep you busy on your march to the Super Bowl.

It’s time to become an NFL Superstar in Madden NFL 20. Start in the College Football Playoff as you compete against friends online or together to take your team to the Super Bowl! Upgrade your Madden Ultimate Team and experience gameplay to a higher level than ever before.
