Hey guys I still love my original xbox and play it every day I've been addicted to forza 5 . I don't feel I need to upgrade until they stop supporting xbox one. What about you guys

A little bittersweet. I just boxed up my xbone. After getting a series s, transferring the games over, etc., I haven't looked back. I love and appreciate all the xbone has done for me. But the advancements from the series s are just plain awesome. From quick resume(when it works) to the quick downloads and loading times, to fps boost, it definitely seems like an "upgrade".

Still using my base Xbox One from 2015. It did feel like it was on its way out but with the recent addition of Xbox Cloud Gaming and being able to play Series X/S titles on your Xbox One, I have no plans of retiring mine anytime soon. I've been absolutely loving games like Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite (the Series X versions), there's no lag and they look pretty good while streamed. As long as Microsoft supports Cloud Gaming on Xbox One, I have no reason to buy a Series X/S for the foreseeable future. I'll be able to enjoy games like A Plague Tale: Requiem and Starfield just like everyone else, on top of not having to download hundreds of GBs and constantly updating my games. It's such a great feature!

My Xbox One has been boxed up since I got my Series X last year. With also owning a Series S as well I don't see me returning to my Xbox One at all. I might at some point sell it or trade it in. Right now though it's just in storage.

Just got a Series S so I'll be putting the Xbox One in storage. Was a good console, although I never really got into gaming on Xbox last-gen like I did in the days of original Xbox and 360. The Series consoles are winning me back.

@Gamer83 Same here. I am not sure if MS reveal with Don Mattrick left a sour taste in my mouth throughout last Gen or just the fact that the base PS4 was more powerful then the base Xbox One I gamed alot more on my PS4. I will admit I never bought a One X only because I a feeling that something better would be here soon enough.

Now that I have a Series X I don't even care about not owning a PS5 and quite honestly the only game I want to play on PS5 is Spider-man 2 whenever that comes out. Also Game Pass is such an awesome thing. MS definitely has come back strong this Gen at least that I am concerned.

I think it was the initial policies MS had that bothered me most about Xbox One but in 2014-16 it still had some decent games, good enough to warrant a purchase of the console, just never reached the level of the 360. Series X is killing it, but even the Series S I'm impressed with. I never owned a One X either and going from playing Halo Infinite on the base X1 to playing the game on Series S in 60 fps is night and day.

@Gamer83 I am sure it was. I don't have much to compare the One to the Series X, as I said didn't play the One much mostly when the PS4/Tv was in use and I was lucky enough to get a Series X from Walmart.com last year. But yeah I am loving the Series X right now I even manged to get a Series S so when I move into my new house next year I can have the Series X in the bedroom and the S in the front room.

Phil Spencer has definitely righted the ship and I am excited to see where Xbox goes from here

I think MS might've had more 80+ games published this year than either Sony or Nintendo and those were by studios it owns. Things are definitely looking good and it still seems like a lot of games will be cross-gen for at least the next year so X1 is still viable for those who don't want to or can't afford to move onto the new machines. Don't know if things have been fully course corrected but this is the best shape the Xbox brand has been in, in a long time.

Got a Xbox One S in 2020, and I still play some Forza Horizon 2-4 on it from time to time.

I'm still clinging onto my Xbox One X. It's still looks great, I don't have £450 spare and I hate the style of the Series X 'lump'. I was sure they would being out an updated smaller, better version by now...just as they did with 360 and Xbox One.

@Gamer83 which games??? I got Series X an PS5 on release, i have numerous Playstation exclusives. I have Forza 5 on Series X. Have Flight Sim too but that’s a PC game. I know there’s Halo but not a Halo fan.

@Captain_Chao5 While I agree that there is always room for improvement, I just don't think MS sees the need for a Series X remodel. I mean they needed one for the Xbox 360 due to the RRoD and the Xbox One due to the fact that it was underpowered for a gaming system compared to the PS4, but with the Series X, there really isn't a need for redesign.

Also I think that's what the Series S is for. The Series X is to the Series S what the Xbox One X was to the Xbox One and the 360E was to the 360.

I honestly like this design of the Series X especially over the 80s VCR look of the original Xbox One.
