Topic: Screenshot taking issues on Xbox One X AND other Xbox consoles

I have Xbox One X, I did not have this issue before.

So, I love to make LOTS of screenshots when I play and last year I noticed that my Xbox was failing to capture screenshots. I get error message 0x82323B01. I use USB so I can have more captures and transfer them to my PC easily.

I even bought the Series X controller for the dedicated capture button.

When I press it 10 times with 2-3 seconds delay I get only 2-3 screenshots and bunch of error messages.

I am desperately trying to justify the existence of this console.

I tried:

• hard reset couple of times
• factory reset
• lowering the resolution
• saving to internal drive
• changing multiple USBs all of which are fast

It used to work so well on this console, I used the screenshot feature on 360 BC games AND on Xbox One games.

I read online and I saw that even Series consoles have problems.

When I take my time between screenshots like 5-10 seconds they are all ok, but it should NOT be like that at all. ALL other consoles (PS4, PS5, Switch 1 and Switch 2) screenshot taking work flawlessly!

So are there any current news or solutions about this?

Have you tried to report it to Microsoft?

@KnightRider1982 Last year, but nothing came out of it. Not even a response. I do not think they actually care.

Have you tried Xbox Live Chat?

@KnightRider1982 I got AI response. "The Xbox system need time to process the screenshot being taken in quick succession. Try to take screenshots with delay of 3-5 seconds between the takes."

So they just admit it is just not good unlike the competition. And yes if I delay the button press the screenshots are taken and no error message appears.

How is this brand still on the market I have no idea They probably have so much money to burn.
