Hi, newbie here, I have recently bought an Xbox One X and it turns on, disc spins etc but no picture just the out of range black screen, I have tried the reset by pressing the power button and sync button also tried the eject button also but to no avail, also tried different hdmi sockets and cables so I would like to know is it replace the hdmi socket on the console itself time?? P.s bought the console at an auction so unable to return it and didn't pay too much either
Any help would be greatly appreciated

@Kevinski66 I think to boot into low resolution mode you need to hold the Eject button and the power button down until you hear a beep. (It's been a while since I've had to do it) Should be able to change resolution to something supported by your set up from there.

Best case scenario for a black screen is that the One X's display settings aren't supported by your Display and Cable choices, the above method should fix it hopefully

See ya!
