F U C K the day trips. They are impossible to do never in all my years of playing video games have I seen such ***** design for a challenge in a game.

So made a bit more progress today, finished of my season objectives, bought the house in Tokyo City which gives me a free wheelspin every time I log in. I also got my 100th car today. Now I am just waiting for spring.

Why are the Drivatar difficulties so massively different?!
I play on Novice and destroy a race. Push it up to Average and suddenly everyone can drive 10x faster than me.
Wtf?!!

Currently playing:
Forza Horizon 6 🏎️ | Series X
Assassin's Creed Odyssey ⚔️ | Series X

@ZeD I remember them saying something about that when the game first came out. I remember saying that they were going to fix that no idea if they did or when they will.

@ZeD Completely agree. I only play on Novice now because of the massive difference between that and Average.

So I just did the Horizon Legend race, which was cool but underwhelming if that was supposed to be the last showcase event. I've unlocked the four race types' "last" events or whatever you want to call them, so I'm looking forward to doing them during the weekend. After that, I think I'm doing with the game as I feel like I've experienced pretty much everything.

I hope they fix the bug/exploit in online drift events soon. Quite often when an event starts, a countdown immediately begins to it ending, then when it does end, someone with 0 points is awarded 1st place, with all of the point-scoring players coming below them.

I've only got 3 achievements left to unlock now. I'm really not enjoying trying to unlock "The Boss", which requires you to get to the maximum promotion level as a delivery driver, as the going is so slow.

One tip for doing the delivery stuff; the car mastery of the car you're in when you go to do any deliveries is transferred over to the delivery vehicle. I assume it's a bug. Get the 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B-STi, unlock all of its car mastery stuff, then make sure you're driving that when you go to do deliveries. That allows you to get a 9x skill multiplier.

@LtSarge I still have quite a bit to do plus the seasonal objectives changing every week I probably will never be done with this game which is not a bad thing. It will probably stay in my rotation till 7 comes out.

@Tasuki I rarely stick with games if I've "finished" them nowadays. But yeah, I'd probably play this longer if I didn't feel a need to move on to other games. Lots of different things to do in it, not to mention the upcoming expansions. This really is the ultimate racing series in my opinion.

@LtSarge For me it is the ultimate racing series. For me it all depends on the game. Something like this Inwill go back and play especially if I get an itch to playing a racing game. Forza is just one of those games to that its just easy to pick up drive around and do a few races and feel satisfied. Also I will use it as a pallette cleanser game in between other games.

"Finished" Forza Horizon 6 today. There's no ending or credits roll, but I did the final showcase event and the last four major race events, so I feel content now after 25 hours of playtime. As I've said previously, this series is truly immaculate. It caters to casuals and hardcores alike. If you want to just drive around in the open world, you can do that. If you want to just do races, you can do that. There's just so much to do in this game and it's a blast.

I love the Japan setting, I think Playground did a good job at making you feel like you're there. Urban areas, rural areas, countryside, seaside, snowy mountains, islands, there are so many different kinds of locales. The culture is also very well represented. You can smash regional mascots as collectibles, there are radio channels with Japanese music, plenty of drift events, not to mention a showcase event where you race a Gundam! I've got so many tracks added to my Spotify playlists thanks to this game, haha.

All in all, unsurprisingly, another phenomenal entry in this brilliant franchise.

@LtSarge Not sure how big of an Initial D fan you are but did you get a chance to race down Mount Haruna (Akina)?

@Tasuki Funny you should mention that, as that was the last race I did before uninstalling the game lol. I don't know much about Initial D but I'm aware of drifting down mountains being an iconic part in Japanese media or media that takes place in Japan. The only thing I've watched where that happens is the third Fast and the Furious movie (Tokyo Drift).

@LtSarge I am really hoping that the DLC for Forza Horizon 6 is Fast and Furious. I know that the Mustang from that movie is already in the game and they have done Fast and Furious collaborations in the past so who knows. I also wouldn't be surprised if they had an Initial D DLC.

I hope the devs revoke all credits earned by people using that Eliminator exploit, but I have a feeling they'll just fix the exploit and that's it.

Finished up the season stuff tonight as well as got the final stamp for Discover Japan. Which means I got the final 2 barn cars.

Well its time I dropped Forza Horizon 6 and not because its bad but the last update just broke the game. Its a beautiful game and driving around Japan is just awesome but as I said the last update just broke the game.

The difficulty scale jumped up alot that I am even having difficulty on the easiest settings winning any races. However if you spend hours tuning your car it seems that you fan compete and the same level. For me this is not what the Forza Horizon games are. If I want to screw around with fine tuning my car and crap I will play Motorsport not Horizon. I dont understand the tuning part, nor do I have the time to do it. My gaming time is very limited and one thing I loved about the Forza Horizon games was the ability to pick up and play them in my limited time. Now in order to enjoy them I have to waste my time playing mechanic to enjoy it. Yeah no.

So unless I can find a hack to restore the game back before this update I will he dropping FH6. Thanks for the time in Japan it was a pleasure.
