Gears 2.

No argues. I wonder if the DLC I bought will be available?

I was playing around with the backward compatibility stuff last night - I had a nice list of 10 games waiting to download so couldn't resist. Have to say it's extremely slick and it all worked flawlessly... even down to my 360 saves coming across in the cloud. You can even go back and forth between the real 360 version and the emulated one. Just a damn shame they didn't do this from day one as I think it would have made a big difference in the perceived value of the two consoles.

As for that list - I'd much rather see a re-mastered Red Dead so don't agree with that being at number one. Alan Wake deserves to be near the top and I'd like to see all the Lego games done as they'll never get a remake and it would be great to have all 3 Lego Batman games on the one console for example.

Red, Gears 2 and 3 are bound to be remastered in the not too distant future

From what I'm hearing, it SHOULD be. Not sure though.

I've gone with Bayonetta, RDR, South Park: Stick of Truth, Burnout Paradise, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Vanquish, Catherine, Lollipop Chainsaw, Double Dragon NEON and REZ HD,

Wanted to vote for G1 Jockey & Gallop Racer (seriously!) but it won't let me

Need to have a healthy dose of Skyrim! Also voted Alan Wake and the rest of the Mass Effect games. Will have a look at a few more but right now I have to go to work

Over a thousand people have voted for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition... why??????

Your worlds transfer across to the far superior Xbox One version, as do all your purchases and the cost to upgrade is practically nothing. Sheesh.

You're right, of course @Stylon, but I want to play Gears 2 now! Although I only have about 4 achievements left to get, one of which involved getting to level 100...I 100%'d the main Skyrim, so thats no good, did most of Fallout 3 (remaster!yay!). Maybe Lego Batmans are the way to go!

I can tell you this much if this was offered day one I would have gone with the Xbox One first this gen and a PS4 second (Well technically Wii U first and Xbox One second but you know what I mean).

If they would have had announced this right out of the gate rather then that DRM junk, there is no doubt in my mind the Xbox One would have done alot better in the beginning.

It's confusing, to me, the number of people who are voting for games that are already planned for remasters or rerelease, such as Fallout 3. I'm afraid other, well-deserved games will be passed-by or delayed.

I noticed that too... I don't know how long it takes them to package each game but if it's a while then I'd hope they'd factor stuff like that into the equation and not just go with the popular vote. I'm kind of glad they choose to resurrect a lot of the old Live Arcade games too... I haven't played some of those for nearly 10 years and it was great to dip into them again.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk or anything, but seriously? what's with all of the shooters? How lame. The Xbone is going to get tons of shooters. hundreds of shooters!! Le thousands of shooters!!! Why are there so many call of duties on the top twenty?

Ok. done with rant.

I'm not sure what the state of jrpgs are for Xbone (although I'm super excited we'll be getting FF7 eventually, if only so I can see what the hype is all about) so I voted for every single jrpg I could find on the list just in case the 360 collection is the best we'll do in terms of that genre (I hope not, but you never know). I also voted for Mirror's Edge, Catherine (that game is so funny. Vincent is such a dork. I love seeing him freak out and get nervous over his cheating), Remember Me, Street Fighter, Symphony of the Night, Alice Madness Returns, and a few others.

You never played FF7?

Its an amazing game...story, action, those cute triangle graphics that somehow manage to convey exactly what the character is feeling...Awesome, awesome game.

That's the problem when you let the popular vote rule I guess. It's not that surprising when you remember that all those COD games were no 1 in the charts for ages and ranked high in the multiplayer charts for, like forever!

It's a dumb way to do things as the shooters are predictably drowning out most of the other genres. They need to break it down in to genres so that fans of racing games (PGR4 should be up there along with Forza 3!), rpg's, platformers etc all get a fair crack of the whip.

Seen a few people mention Catherine... I gave it a whirl but didn't like it because it just seemed to mainly be some sort of weird block pushing puzzle game... is it really worth persevering with?

Good call on Remember me & Alice Returns though

I go Red Dead Redemption, I've missed it since I moved over to Xbox One. Still have the 360, but I can't seem to find the motivation to start it up. Oooh, and Mass Effect 3. Especially with Mass Effect Andromeda being presented at E3.

I never got the hype around Catherine. It looked super odd to me; and I'm usually one for quirky, odd stuff, but that was just too much.

Uhm... not really. I don't know... maybe... well, the truth is, I bought Catherine because I liked the art style and it wasn't a shooter. (^-^')

Yeah, I think the art style was one of the few things that caught my eye in the first place. But then I talked to the owner of the GameStop where I used to get my games and his description was very much like yours, haha. I think it was then I decided it just wasn't for me.

I wonder if any of the EA games that are on sale this week have any chance of working on Xbox One later down the line. Surely a fair bet considering how well Microsoft and EA seem to get on these days!
