You wanted an opportunity play shoot, shoot, bang, bang on your Kinect.  Well it looks like Twisted Pixel ('Splosion Man, Comic Jumper) will be the first out of the gate with their undead marionette cowboy known as The Gunstringer!

Twisted Pixel has a dev blog (address above) so that you can follow the games progress as well as an announcment trailer.  Good to see some variety on its way to the Kinect!  Discuss amongst yourselves...

The intro video on thegunstringer.com is a bit clever.

I can't figure out how you actually play this game. I can guess, but they don't really show you. I wish they showed somebody playing it, and how well the game reacts to your motions. In any case, I look forward to the demo.

it appears that one hand controls the player like a puppet (in the video, you see the wooden cross at the top of the screen).

the other hand is your shooter as indicated by the blue or red crosshairs.

My arms are tired already!

Definintely gonna check this game out. If nothing else for its creativity, and the possibilites of what the kinect can do...

This looks awesome! Wonder how many points this will cost, any ideas? Just so that I can get a few points in ready, what with the yoostar 2 DLC next week and this game, would like to know approximate cost. Any ideas would be very welcome.... Many thanks....

Old topic, but I'll answer all the same. MikeAstro - you're looking at probably 800-1200 MSP for this one. And it looks like it could be great fun
