Topic: Just Got An 360, Can’t DL Update or Save Anything

I bought my friends old 360 off of him to play GTA 4 story. When I try to create a 360 profile, it doesn’t save. Whenever I play games nothing saves if I exit the game. Whenever I try to “sign into Xbox live” it says to download a system update, but then doesn’t let me. PLEASE HELP
