Coming out in just a few weeks and I am wondering if anyone is picking this one up or if anyone will be reviewing this game.

I have never played the first two since to be honest they just never seem to interest me.  This one however does interest me but I think it has to do with the Steampunk setting and the fact that I am a huge Steampunk fan.

So what do you guys think?  Are you going to getting this one or does the change of setting turn you off to the series?

I won't be getting the game right away but I am highly interested in seeing how it turns out. The first game is fantastic and one of my favorites this gen. This is being done by that team so it should be great.

I can't wait - day one for me. I loved the first two, and this one looks pretty darned sweet.

Well I was trying to hold off a bit from picking this one up (Still have Tomb Raider and MHU and Castlevania to play through) but I just couldn't help myself when I went to Target today.  Probably wont fire this one up till Friday, when I will have the house to myself.

Any chance of Pure Xbox doing a review on this bad boy?  I'd love to hear what you all have to say about it.

Racking up some great reviews so far. The 360 version sits at a 94 on Metacritic right now. I expect it'll end up averaging in the 91-93 range and has a great shot to be the GOTY when it's all said and done.

Yeah thats one of the reason I picked it up.  All the positives reviews I have heard on this one, plus the Steampunk setting won me over as well.

Yeah, I gotta say, 1912 looks pretty damn cool in this game.

Well I picked this up yesterday and finally got a chance to play it at about 10pm. Decided to only have a "quick" go, and by the time I stood up it was 1am.

That's the hallmark of a great game, right there.

Yeah I have a feeling that will happen to me as well, and lately I have been feeling under the weather so I have been going to bed early.  I should have some time on Friday to delve into this game.

Cool, looking forward to the review.

I caved and decided to get the game today, traded in a bunch of stuff and got the season pass as well and because of a deal going on the regular edition strategy guide was only $1 so added that as well. Haven't gotten a chance to fire up the game yet but everything I've heard, read and seen leads me to believe I'll love this as much as the first.

I love this game. I'm not going to spoil it for you, but if you make the decisions a good person would make, bad things happen. But if I'd made the other choice, perhaps the game devs came up w/ a different scenario to pit you against the same problems.

Just finished about a 6-hour marathon session with the game. My plan was to sit down for a few hours get to the part where you first meet Elizabeth and then stop but I couldn't put the controller down. This game is fantastic, I've thoroughly enjoyed lots of shooters this gen, all the Halos and Gears games, Killzone 2, Resistance 1 and 3, but no shooter/adventure has engrossed me like Bioshock 1 and now Infinite. The story in this game is just as intriguing as the first, the setting is different but still awesome and I like that there's plenty of collectibles to look for. I love Tomb Raider and didn't think a game would come along so quickly that could top it, but Bioshock: Infinite is leaps and bounds ahead of everything else that has come out so far and unless something goes seriously wrong in the second half I believe this is a very, very real GOTY contender.

I would put Tomb Raider in that bracket too, personally, but Bioshock Infinite is just nosing ahead for me. Absolutely superb - and it gets better the more I play it! Loving it.

Yup, you can jump right into Infinite without any knowledge of the past games. The first is one of the top 10 games of this gen though, still highly recommend it.

Well, just beat the game and while it seems people are split on the ending I loved it, best ending since Arkham City and though I'll take a few days to think about it, this is possibly my favorite last half hour or so of any game this gen. Overall, absolutely loved Infinite. The shootouts, the awesome world that was as fun to explore as Rapture was the first time, the main story and the back stories, just a masterpiece of game design. I bought the season pass and hope the story DLC lives up to what they've created here and the next game in the series can't arrive soon enough for me.
