@Nexozi hopefully BC + Smart delivery means the market for remasters will be very limited. Mafia III was barely a patch and it was free for owners as it was. It will be much harder to sell current gen remasters when all XO games can run on a XSX.
I’m sure there still will be the odd OGXB and X360 remake, though.
Count me as interested in Fable 4. I'm also interested in the next Forza Horizon, even though it would pain me to leave the Britain of Horizon 4.
Oh, and I'm kind of optimistic to the point of foolishness that Rockstar are going to update GTAV to look closer in graphical fidelity to RDR2 for this next generation, and give us a new map to explore on top of it.
Firstly, Banjo-Kazooie, because it's about time and Nintendo has Mario and PlayStation has Ratchet & Clank.
Secondly, Fable, because it could and should become an epic next-gen RPG adventure.
This is what Xbox needs the most. Then they should add some RPG games including Japanese stuff like Final Fantasy VII Remake, a Dragon Quest collection and the new one (XI). And Project Zero/Fatal Frame although I know this is complicated.
@Tharsman Yeah!!! More Jrpgs the better! And while we're at it, hopefully they finish bringing the rest of their Japanese games to backwards compatible like Nier, Fatal Frame, Silent Hill 2 (the HD collection doesn't count) etc.
But if there's anything I really hope they do its that they build their own identity using the exclusives they already have into something that can stand with Nintendo's characters. Master Chief, Cortana, Banjo Kazooie, Joanna Dark, they could really become brand mascots with the right moves (I guess Master Chief already is though).
I forgot to mention Perfect Dark, it would be a great addition because although there's Halo, Perfect Dark like Goldeneye 007 is a combination of shooting, infiltration and James Bond style.
I'd like to see Perfect Dark and Halo taking different approaches to FPS, like have one really dig into the narrative side ala Bioshock whilst the other go for the big action.
I really hope at this thing in July we see what each of MS' 15 studios is working on.
Fighting Games, RPGs and Platformers rank amongst my favourite genres so more of those would be great in general. I probably will have the Xbox Series X as my primary gaming system with my Switch as a secondary one (Kirby still remains my favourite game series; can't go without it) so if it could obtain as many Japanese, and anime/cartoon based and styled games as possible that the PlayStation line tend to get, then that would also be great.
For more specific stuff... I'd love a new Blinx game. In general some further HD remasters of OG Xbox games I missed out on like Voodoo Vince would be pretty appreciated. Perhaps I'll think of more suggestions later but those are the ones off the top of my head.
A remake of the previous Banjo Games to appeal better to modern gamers
Plus, a Conker Remake. I know that there was already one on The OG Xbox, but that version had iffy animations and more of the language was censored compared to the N64 version (and they say nintendo is for babies), so a remake that has the humor, expession and language of the N64 version, and the gameplay and online mode of the OG Xbox Version.
Xbox needs more characters to be know for other than just master chief. Xbox should focus on bringing us 5 brand new heroes to add to the roster. Five new exclusive story driven games. Five brand new characters that will be world known icons from the Xbox brand.
