Has anyone seen the trailers for Crimson Desert yet? Do you think it will be good? I am hoping it will be I watched a few interviews and the footage they had on their website it really has me interested. In thinking about other games that are coming up that are new I hope starfield comes out sooner then later I imagine we will see something about it at E3 if it is happening this year. I really do not know of any other games that are not remake or this gen titles coming out. For example the withcer 3 if there is a this gen/next gen rerelease I might get that. Anyhow what do you guys see in the future that has your attention?

As evidence seems to point to Starfield being released sooner rather than later, my hype is beginning to build for that game. For near future stuff, I’m really looking forward to Ascent and Crossfire X. I think Ascent looks cool and I’m a big fan of Remedy. Of course, I’m also looking forward to Psychonauts 2. I’m not a huge Halo fan, but I’m definitely eager to try out Infinite.

@Hypnotoad107 I am trying really hard to avoid that starfield hype myself you cant help but be excited based on their past games but after cyberpunk which I was super hyped for I am wanting to chill my jets. I havent played a halo since 2 and the only reason I ever played was for multiplayer.

@VisitingComet1 I know it’s a bit of an unpopular opinion, but I though Fallout 4 was pretty great. I didn’t play Fallout 76, but I’ve heard that came has also had a turnaround and I’m thinking about giving that a try to pass some time before Starfield releases. With Halo, I actually have really only played the campaign with any regularity. I think the story is just overly complicated, and master Chief isn’t a super relatable character for me. If you asked me to sum up what has happened so far in the first 5 Halo games, I wouldn’t be able to even tell you.

I'm definitely excited for the Ascent the most as i believe its just around the corner. I'll be playing Pshyconauts 2 as well but i haven't played the first one yet so it's not as anticipated personally. I think Halo will be a blast so can't wait to play that. And as far as Starfield goes i have no hype as i have no idea what the game is. Also it's likely going to be a massive game so I'll wait a while before i jump into it. Likely they will have any launch bugs sorted by then as let's face it, all games are launching with issues nowadays.

The Gunk also looked fun as does that Zelda fox game, forget it's name at the moment.

@Hypnotoad107 yeah it's Tunic! That looks like a lot of fun and it's a gamepass title as well i believe. Personally games outside of gamepass aren't on my platform lol. Have too much to play to buy stuff.

@Krzzystuff starfield is a Bethesda game so the bugs are going to be crazy at first I remember playing fallout new vegas on launch day I rented it from blockbuster remember those? It had crazy bugs one of which was wright at the beginning where the doctors head rotates in a circle. the ascent looks awesome I will give that try for sure another game that I hope has a really good console port is grim dawn its fun on the pc but hard to play with a controller.

@VisitingComet1 Fallout New Vegas had the worst bug I ever encountered playing a video game. It had some sort of cache issue that caused the game to crash to desktop on a regular basis. It would crash 3-5 times in a single play session. It was such a good game that I fought through it, and it’s still my favorite Fallout. But unfortunately, it definitely tainted my playthrough. That said, that one was Obsidian and not Bethesda.

@Hypnotoad107 I find it peculiar that even though New Vegas wasn't made by Bethesda Game Studios, it still had bugs and glitches that Bethesda games are known for. Which begs the question, was it the developer who didn't iron out all these issues or was it because the engine/source code (apologies, I'm not well-versed in technical terms so I hope that you still understand what I'm trying to get at) simply wasn't good enough? If I recall correctly, Obsidian used the same engine/source code for New Vegas as the one for Fallout 3, which also contained a lot of technical issues. So it could be that those older games were simply not well-optimised in general and that these newer games like Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield will perform better in that regard.

@Hypnotoad107 until people stop pre-orders and demand games to be a finished product at launch bugs will always be there at launch. I personally won't be playing anything for at least a week past launch, longer if major issues are reported. I only get one first impression of a game and I don't want it ruined by a bug. I have enough backlog games without bugs to play while I wait for the finished product.

@Hypnotoad107 Fallout 4 is quite decent as a standalone game, but coming off of New Vegas which is my personal favorite game of all time (Over 1000 hours sunk), It was simply too much of a disappointment for me on a personal level.
