I managed to finish the campaign on DOOM yesterday and I'm just running through the little bits I missed to 100% the game. I've only got 3 achievements left to get and that's it done.
Hello there fellow gamers.
As of now, I´m curretly playing Clair Obscur Expedition 33 on my Xbox Series X and I´m starting to understand why so many people are praising the game that much.
The visuals are great, the ost is brilliant, the characters are interesting with very good voice acting and the combat is awesome.
What an amazing achievement for a Gaming Studio´s first project.
Kudos for Sandfall and may they continue making more games like this.
Cheers and happy gaming everyone

Started It Takes Two with my son today. I got to say compared to A Way Out this game is a disappointment. The story is good but the camera is horrible and it leads to a bunch of cheap deaths not to mention the bosses have alot of cheap phases where you cant do anything but die. Also the fact that this game is more a platformer then A Way Out just ruined it for me. I prefer the co-op narrative gameplay A Way Out over this clunky platforming gamestyle.
Definitely a disappointment for me if it wasn't for the story I would have stopped playing this game long ago. I'd say this is a 4/10 for me. Such a downgrade for this studio after A Way Out.

Now that I am done with It Takes Two and CoD: WWII's campaign, I started Mortal Kombat 1.
I got the deluxe edition when it was on sale as I am a sucker for fighting games and I wanted to play through the story. So far I am enjoying the story, yes its another reboot but in doing so it ties up the loose ends of MK 11. I know some people complained about it being another reboot but its really not any different then what Marvel or DC or doing with their movies, alternate timeliness.
Still the story is enjoyable and just adds another layer to the MK lore and universe. Where as MK9 was a mix of Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and 3 of the original games, MK1 seems to be a mix of Deadly Alliance, Deception and Armageddon. I managed to finish the main storyline and will be starting the DLC storyline tonight after work. Overall this game doesn't really reinvent anything but the story is worth it.
@NintendoByNature I still haven't played that game. I did enjoy Tomb Raider but MS's shady practices with Rise just turned me off to it. I am not even sure how it compares to the first one in the series. Keep us posted how it is.

@NintendoByNature Yeah I played the first one years ago on PS4. I enjoyed my time with it. But when Rise came out I was PS4 at the time and as unfortunately I couldnt play it when it came out. By the time it was available on PS4 I had other games to play at the time so I didnt get around too it.

Now that I finished Mortal Kombat 1, I decided to start Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 Remaster for now. Just something simple and not to deep, a good pallette cleanser before I move onto Suikoden here in a few days.

Started the Suikoden Remaster today. I am only about 4 hours into it but I am enjoying it as much as I did years ago. Its still a great RPG and the QoL improvements they made really are nice touch. Music is still wonderful and this is another great remaster.

Played a few more hours of Suikoden tonight. Got through the first major battle and did some recruiting. I am making sure I am checking everywhere for recruits but for the most part I remember where they are especially when I get to a new town or area. When I arrive there it just comes back to me.

So played a few hours today of Suikoden and was hoping to get a bit further into tbe story instead this session turned into a recruiting session and I didnt advance the story really. I got into the next area which is Milich Oppenheimer's area got to the point where you have to retreat due to the poison flowers. That opened up a few towns where there were some people to recruit. However I got to the first grind heavy part and that was trying to get the nameless urn to recruit the appraiser. Since the nameless urn has such a small drop rate I spent 3 hours grinding till I finally got one.
So as I said not much story advancement but I did get alot of people for my castle tonight. So now I have all the merchants which is nice and the pirates. Next time I play I will be taking on Milich.

Well today in Suikoden I was to take down not only Milich Oppenheimer's forces and liberate his area but I was able to take down the great general Teo McDohl as well. I was also able to recruit a bunch of people and build the castle up some. Next time I play I will be helping the Warrior's Village and take on Neclord.

@Rougecooper Best of luck with the game man. Also please also take some achievements while you are at it if you can. Guess maybe that the Far Cry franchise can be a good game for that kind of thing. Would of course be cool to know more about it later on if you want/can share
