Topic: Losing faith in Xbox

With the newly announced price hikes for the Xbox Series X/S consoles coming into effect soon, I'm questioning whether to leave the brand behind. Of course, I might still get some games from them if I'm interested, but I no longer want to get the consoles or Game Pass. I'm seriously considering getting a PS5 if that means I don't have to pay absurd amounts of money for a new console. Anyone feeling the same thing?

@AgentCooper My Xbox doesn't work anymore, so I cannot use it and this necessitates replacing it. We really don't know if or when Sony or Nintendo raise prices again. These announcements just happen. It WOULD be foolish not to acknowledge that everything ELSE is getting price hikes, so it would be safe to assume games will too. The reality is that, at the moment, the PS5 looks like a decent deal compared to a Series X, and while Game Pass is a good deal, it's probably never coming to PlayStation.

I would not to put to high hopes on Sony from a price point of view. Things feel far from certain atm.
