What do you think of Xbox having games that are exclusively on Series X and S? Would fans be angry or is a good direction for them to move in? If it turns into a situation where a gamer has to spend money to buy the upgraded system just to play a game that could have just been for Xbox one, that would be interesting.
Xbox has always been about backwards compatibility and freedom so I dunno what to think.. Gamers should always have a choice and I feel like the industry is moving in the right direction with crossplay etc but who knows what will happen. Currently there are no titles that are exclusive to Series X and S.
I'm guessing the person meant there really aren't much in the way of games that are only on the Series X and S (and obviously also on PC). That is not untrue, but they are coming.
Patience. Even though some people like to still cry about the lack of games for the system so far, there are plenty of very solid cross-gen titles to play (not saying the OP is), so some people need to move on. Also, like I already said, they are coming. It's not like the PS5 has very many right now either.

Games don’t grow in the trees. Big games and studios take a huge time to develop, just have some patience. We are just going through the “indiestation 4” phase but there’s already so many positive things Xbox has done in the new gen. So many things to look forward and I’m sure Phil has many deals planned for meanwhile.
I think once the systems become widely available, it’s much more reasonable to have it locked. It’s a bad look to tell people that if they want to play something, they need to upgrade if there aren’t any systems available to upgrade to. Plus, most of these games that are releasing in the next year started development on last gen consoles, so I think forcing it to be Series X/S exclusive would be artificial.
