Topic: Controllers unpaired!

Woke up this morning, both controllers have mysteriously unpaired and will not re-pair.
Any idea/help appreciated.

@antstephenson Yeah this happened to me a few days ago. Just unplug the power cord from your Xbox Series X count to 30 and plug it back in and everything should work fine.

Cool... As it happens I just tried that and now seems to work ok 👍

Just shut it down - can hold the xbox button down on the console until it powers off - then back on and it should fix it - no need to pull the cord.

@Hexamex-Tex I did that and it didn't work. I had to unplug the cord completely.

Wow. That sucks. Power down has worked for me. The need to fix the bug though.

@Hexamex-Tex Yeah I shutdown my system using the button on the console and then I couldn't get it to turn back on with the controller. Finally Googled it and read that you had to unplug the actually power cord wait 30 seconds and plug it back in. I did that and everything worked as normal.
