A Plague Tale: Innocence got a 60fps upgrade (up to 120Hz) on Series X. I have played the first chapter of A Plague Tale: Requiem and although I can play it around 40fps on Series X, I was wondering if the developer will do the same and release a 60fps mode after I have completed the game, like the first time😂.

@Banjo- I doubt we’ll see a higher frame rate mode on the current generation of Xbox’s.

the original plague take innocence was originally a normal xbox one game it seems when they upgrade game either from xbox one to series x or ps4 to ps5 they have so much spare overhead that 60 fps isnt a problem because essentially at its core it was a last gen game.

this gen series X game would have to very thoroughly optimised to hit 60fps or conceived from the outset as a 60 fps game as the developer has targeted graphics over performance

@Banjo- I finished Requiem on my Series S yesterday and tbh I barely noticed it running at 30 fps. There were a few moments where there was a small stutter but overall it maintained that stable 30 fps. For me personally as long as it's stable I don't notice it. I hope people won't pass on this game just because of the fps since it's such an amazing game, for me personally it was better than Innocence. The music, vocie acting and story were all stellar. I was always on the edge of my seat in the stealth sessions and got that rewarding feeling when I finished it. My personal game of the year

They designed the game for the current generation and while the graphics are excellent, I don't see any reason for not being able to run at 60fps with some concessions. The frame rate bothers me slightly when moving the camera but I agree with @Lavalera, it shouldn't be a reason to pass on it. In chapter II, Lucas's feet got stuck on the stairs before opening a door, so I had to restart the game, restarting the section didn't solve it (infinite loading screen). Just a glitch like any other game has. It's, however, an awesome title available on Game Pass on day one.

EDIT: I disabled motion blur and it's much better now because panning doesn't blur the screen, so I'd recommend other players trying that.
