Well according to Gamespot.com the deal between Don Mattrick joining the ranks of Zynga is complete.

It looks like he will start June 8th.

What do you guys think?  Is this good or bad for MS?

I personal think this will be good for MS I honestly can say I wasn't to big of a fan of him.  He really got on my nerve with the whole "If people dont want online" comment about a month ago.   Its kinda weird that he is leaving now after his position with the Xbox One and so suddenly.

The people most disappointed by this news are the ones inside Sony and Nintendo headquarters. Tells you all you need to know.

This was a move that needed to happen. Phil Spencer has to be moved to another division within MS next and they need to bring back Peter Moore, Shane Kim or J. Allard.

I couldn't say it better.

Shane Kim or J. Allard, please. I believe Mr. Moore is quite happy at EA and I reckon he'll do better things there than he would back at Microsoft.

I'd like to see Shane Kim back myself. He wasn't completely clueless like the people currently in charge.
