Yesterday, we were treated to one of the best new Xbox Game Pass roundups in recent memory, with the likes of The Quarry, Ark: Survival Ascended, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 and many other great games all confirmed for the service.
The one that seems to be getting the most attention though, perhaps surprisingly, is Evil West. Our game page for this title has received more clicks than any other over the past 24 hours, and it was also one of the biggest trends related to Xbox yesterday. Additionally, lots of Game Pass fans on social media have been sharing their excitement for it:
The hype levels are clearly high right now, although you should perhaps temper your expectations slightly considering the game's review scores. Evil West currently holds a 75 average rating for Xbox Series X on Metacritic and a "Mostly Positive" rating on Steam, while its Xbox Store rating currently sits at 3.9/5 in the US. Our Pure Xbox review actually came in under the average back in November of 2022, as we scored it a "Not Bad" 6/10.
