Microsoft has confirmed that they'll release the second season of shows for both of their Kinect TV franchises on January 7th, 2013.

The first season of Kinect Nat Geo TV went down a storm here, although no sales figures have been confirmed as yet. The second series will be available to users whether they purchased the first series at retail or not, and focuses on reptiles. Replacing Casey Anderson in front of the camera this time around will be Nat Geo WILD's "Dangerous Encounters" host, Brady Barr.

The more lacklustre Kinect Sesame Street TV also gets a second season, although little has been confirmed about their content as yet. Expect fluffy monsters.

Each season consists of eight 30-minute episodes, and will cost 2400 MSP. Individual episodes will also be available for 400 MSP a pop.
