Topic: Game Bargains

Couldn't find a similar thread so created this - found it really useful in other forums so people can share info about any good deals they spot, whether online or in the high street, with the rest of us.

I'll start it off with this one: Zoo Tycoon for the Xbox One for £15.75 (digital download) from here: http://www.cdkeys.com/xbox-live/games/zoo-tycoon-xbox-one - That's almost a £30 saving on the xbox store price... I've been waiting for this to appear in a sale since the dawn of time and for some reason it's just never happened so I'm well chuffed with this one

Oh man...that's a pretty sweet deal right there. I've been waiting for a sale on that one as well! Good eye, good eye.

cdkeys.com have AC Unity for £16.99/$21.59 for today only (6/Jan/15) and also AC Black Flag although no price is given. I would say that will be cheap as I got it a few weeks ago from them and it was £7.40. These are digital downloads.

@crippyd - How do you get on with cdkeys when you order stuff? I've used them twice... the first time my order was put on hold for about an hour for them to do a routine security check. The second time it was held up for four hours and was only released after a lengthy email exchange culminating in me having to email them a photo of my driving licence!!!

No doubting they are cheap and the codes they supply work just fine but I don't enjoy all the faffing around, being treated like a potential criminal...

@stylon In the main, fine. I have had a couple of issues, one was my own fault and the other was tiny and one email and it was sorted in about 10 minutes. I think I've used them about 20 or so times and it's painless.

@ crippy - So they've just singled me out for the special treatment then lol. Maybe it's because I pay with PayPal? Will see what happens next time...

@stylon I always pay with PayPal too, you must just be special

I've used CD-Keys twice now. First time I bought 12+1 month GOLD and it went straight through. Second time I bought £50 Xbox credit and had to wait for 'security checks' which took about an hour.

I have used CDKeys for several years and quite a lot of transactions too and always pay with PayPal. I use it for my XBL Hold and XB credit for both mine and my sons xbox. It has never (so far) let me down and can't remember if I went through a security check or not - maybe because my PayPal account is 'verified'. I have usually received an email with access to the code within minutes of purchase too.

Do you guys know if this stuff works in the U.S.? I'd like to buy some gift cards but they only show euros and I'm skeptical I may be swindled.

I so want Zoo Tycoon, but having bought Sunset Overdrive, Wolfenstein, Lego Batman 3 and Shadow of Mordor in the last week, I probably shouldn't xD

So none of you have had to send them copies of any documents then? Great - would love to know what I'm doing wrong to appear so dodgy... Amazon have no such quarms about taking my money lol

@captainhetty - I bought it the other day and love it... if you like animals and/or like things like Sim City then you should love it. £15 is next to nothing these days anyway

Sorry no physical documents needed. I just had to wait for them to approve the purchase via an email.

I picked up Lego Batman 3 for £26 at ShopTo the other day, thought that was a bit of a bargain.

I really must ignore this thread. In the last few months I've stacked up The Crew, Alien Isolation, The Evil Within, FH2, Far Cry 4, Murdered: Soul Suspect and Worms. I don't get time to play nearly enough so I mustn't buy any more LOL

You lot are bad! There was 5% off for liking them on Facebook so I got Zoo Tycoon and some PSN Credit for £24. My boyfriend is going to have a coronary when I let slip how much I've spent on games this month xD

Game online have 3 for 2 on Trap Team figures at the moment............

My lad is after Fifa 15 for Xbox One - if anyone knows any good deals, please share
