The following Xbox 360 games are being delisted on February 7th (this is the UK list):
To avoid confusion such as Blue Dragon being delisted, I think that you should specify that they won't be removed from the modern store. For example, you'll still be able to buy Blue Dragon and any backwards compatible game on the browser, Xbox One and Series S|X @Nico07 except those that for some reason aren't on the modern store.
@Banjo- Right. I don't recall that being part of the story yesterday. So games like Daytona USA are playable on Series but only purchasable for a short time on 360, and may never be purchasable on Series.
Blue Dragon is safe to purchase on Series.
Just a heads up to those trying to buy the actual games on the 360 marketplace - it can be a bit hit & miss. Bought Jet Set Radio yesterday, but it didn't work via Chrome or Edge browsers on a desktop - did work via the Bing app on my phone though.
Searching 360 marketplace is Xbox support comes up with this message:
"We will be closing the Xbox 360 Marketplace over the next year, so we encourage you to purchase any 360 games or DLC by May 2023."
That was an error as confirmed by Microsoft. Of course, the old store is going to close someday but you will be able to buy backwards compatible games on the new store except those that were not moved because the publisher didn't allow to because of licencing or marketing reasons. It seems that you'll also be able to redownload games that you own, even delisted games.
