There is a lot of fluff in 24 hour news networks but there is plenty of fine US news outlets. That image is beyond silly.
You know what I mean. There are some good ones, but when Fox is the most watched "news" channel in this nation and MSNBC tries to be a liberal knockoff of it, this picture symbolizes everything that's wrong with US politics. Why anyone watches channels like Fox or MSNBC is beyond me. I guess some people would rather hear that everything is working out for them and everything that isn't is the other party's fault. Ignorance is bliss for some...too many apparently.
After returning to Canada I was amazed at how different the news was, I'd been just old enough to start caring. Unfortunately over the past five years we've declined a tad in our expectations. Although in comparison to our televised parliamentary procedures, which amounts to stand-up comedy by the least funny people in the country, it's not so bad.
I don't really ever watch the news. I figure if something is really important, I'll hear about it through friends or social media. 99% of news is just pointless.

You're right in my opinion though, the repetition of programming, the negativity, the politics and spin involved. I honestly don't know of one friend who watches the news for anything other than hockey!
Okay...my wife and I currently have a PS3, PS4 and Wii U. We look for party games to play together and family-friendly games (we have two young daughters), and was wondering on what is available for the X-box One. I know Zoo Tycoon and Fantasia is there, but what games are available on the download-only-side of the store that is exclusive to the system (any games)? and also, can you download the movies, tv episodes and games from the 360 onto the one from the store using your old accounts. Just some questions.
