absolutely zero interest. I played it and left it on the new game plus to do some DLC and now that I'm here why would I go back? I remember I played the Cyberpunk DLC immediately after Starfield and it was just like ah... that's how it's supposed to be done. It was an absolute masterclass and Bethesda need to take notes.
As an Ally X owner I've experimented with FSR a bit but concluded I'd rather just not. Games just look better running in regular 1080p and I see 40 to 60 frames in almost all games. Exceptions being optimisation nightmares like Ark Acended. Gears is stable at 60 in 1080p. The only reason I drop to 720 is for travel and battery life and in that case I also often use the fps limiter too.
Meanwhile I'm playing dragon age and gears on my ally X just fine! I think people will like it once they have it in hand. Yeah it's a windows PC and yeah you sometimes have to do some messing around but oh well.
I feel bad because the original was swamped by big ticket releases/announcements and now it shadow drops just as I download gears and dragon age! Maybe some time I'll play it...
720 is totally fine for a screen that size. On the 2024 ally X I can run most games at 1080 and get at least 30fps but I'd much rather run at 720 and crank up the performance. Honestly I don't care.
I think the bottom line is their slot machine loot box monetisation nonsense doesn't fit. And they handled the launch terribly. What people want from motorsport is a lot of tracks and cars with a lot of cash to play with. Minimal interference. As few restrictions on what you're allowed to do as possible. That's basically it.
Battlefield 4 was technically the best for sure. For me Modern Combat 2 was the first time I ever played a game like it and it was mind blowing. It wasn't a good battlefield game i guess in hindsight. But I loved it! Bad Company 2 was the first time I ever had irl friends playing with me online too. People from school were into it. So that was also amazing. So yeah. 4 was good but it doesn't have the memories.

Getting back into ark survival atm and Nintendo 64. That's been cool. I just love it. It's a very capable machine. People complain about batter life but I played for 2 hours last night off the cable. What's wrong with that? The cable they supply is massive! So not a huge deal to me at all.
I won't get the xbox version. Do I wish I waited? Meh. I think it's a slight boost and I actually prefer the more standard form factor of the X. Perfectly comfortable for me.

The action is great 10/10! The story has grabbed me but not on a top tier level 8/10. The world is beautiful and varied with loads to do 10/10.
