For some reason, everyone keeps saying that the price is "eye-watering" and that it's a bit much for what you're getting. $600 for a 60gb PS3 was eye-watering. No one seems to stop and think about just how much those 1tb and 2tb memory cards cost!
Even after the exclusivity ended and a second manufacturer was allowed to come to market. Those cards cost $150 - $499 regularly throughout the year. Hypothetically you can spend $499.99 for a reg. Black Series X + $150 (1tb Western Digital memory card) which equals $650 alone (not accounting for taxes).
People are missing the point that Microsoft has listened to their community about the high costs of those cards and instead opted to offer an option with increased storage built-in at a $50 savings to the consumer. I honestly don't know why the Internet always loses their sh*t when Microsoft does something new with their products.
