I really enjoyed the show. It was a nice time. But it felt like the actual awards were very secondary with some being announced only on the pre-show and some just by the by.

I get that the announcements and trailers are the big draw but I'd have liked more focus on awards.

I've never liked the notion that in order to complete a game you have to have a platinum trophy or 100% achievement score. Especially as often a chunk of what's required is stuff extra to simply playing the game.

One game I play alot this isn't even possible as one achievement/trophy is tied to a game mode removed from the game four years ago and the requirements were never updated.

I have my alerts on both consoles switched off. But with that said I appreciate some players enjoy this and I do prefer Xbox's current system to what's on PlayStation.

The fact is Gold isn't free. Thus tbe games aren't free.

I'm not swayed one way or the other by this crop of games. Handy to have in the back pocket though.

This is a shame. I was hoping to get this.

But I'll give it a pass til it's less buggy.
