Re: Talking Point: Xbox Series S Owners, Are You Happy You Skipped Series X?

@NotoriousWhiz dont take it that just because I got an s and am happy with it that I haven't seen the X in action because I have, and on the exact same high end 4k TV that my s is currently hooked upto. And on X/s games only it did nothing but 100% CONFIRM my thoughts. IAM 100% happy with my choice to keep the s until midgen and see if we get a refresh.

I got the series s due to x stock levels, I also brought the 1tb SSD expansion card as my thought was I will eventually get the X and the SSD expansion card will add nicely to the x. But now well over a year of series s I do not feel the need to buy the X, even with a high end 4k TV with Dolby vision and hdmi 2.1 the series x/s games look absolutely brilliant, proper Dolby vision HDR is amazing for gaming and as long as I get 60fps IAM happy. And with the storage expansion I have had as many as 30 games installed. Now I am going to wait and see if we get a mid gen refresh then maybe I will upgrade it but by that time I would have more then got my £249 worth out of the little beast. Oh and it's so much better looking and fits in my front room TV unit which a X wouldn't.

Re: Talking Point: Xbox Series S Owners, How's Your Storage Looking In 2022?

TheDano79

Never affected me as I brought the 1tb ssd expansion, the official one that slots in the back. Yeah was very expensive but had series s over a year now and never had an issue with storage, and IF I go series x (and that's a big IF) it will obviously work with that aswel. Also the cost of the SSD expansion over the life span of the console generation makes it a decent investment.
