@UnitF0XHound I only partially agree with fast travel ruining the game. I haven't played KCD2 yet, but in the first game i played on hardcore right away. At first it was really great to navigate on your own but for the last 10-20 hours when you know every rock and have visited all the locations several times, it stops being a challenge anymore and becomes a chore for me. I would prefer some middle ground with fast travel locked out until late-midgame so i could progress through story to some point and complete most of the sides in this particular village to open a fast travel to it
I subbed to gamepass at the beginning of last year and finished more than 50 games over this period - some small, some big, some new releases, mostly something that i missed. There are a lot of games I would've never tried if not for gamepass, I wouldn't even looked at them, but once I tried, I loved them. I don't care about new releases, For me there are plenty of games that came out 30-20-10-5 years ago which i haven't tried yet and I believe they could be as good or as bad as a one released today. Nothing stops me from playing any game released just now in a year or 2 or 5 and I would gain the same emotions from it regardless. And still I'm very peaky about the games I play, I literally almost skipped Clair Obscur in the first 2 minutes just because I didn't like jump animation there(and I'm really glad I didn't, one of the best games i've ever played and another one that i wouldn't even try if not for gamepass). If the game doesn't interest me in first 5-15 minutes or has some slight issues like bad animations/aim/etc., i will likely delete it and will never launch it again. But still had really great value from gamepass so far. Yes, most likely by the middle of the year, maximum by the end of it, I will finish everything that could be interesting for me, but nothing stops me from subbing for a couple of months once a year after that to gain the same value from whatever comes next and to play games from my own library meanwhile.
