Anybody acting like the Gamepass price drop was a treat for gamers, is out of their mind. They raised the price to get the quarterly earnings up for Phil's exit and now get to 'drop' it to try to bring gamers back. Customers are always going to be the lowest regarded part of the business, period.
Seems to me that Microsoft just rounds up prototype names so they have a nice powerpoint slide filled with logos to show off at games related shows, and avoid looking like fools.
Only to turn around... and look like fools anyway.
