The writing was on the wall since Microsoft installed the new leadership at Xbox. They made a bunch of cheap moves to garner favour with gamers and get the numbers up for a couple of quarters. Now they can swing an axe at all of the studios they gobbled up, you know, for the shareholders and leave a LOT of talented people looking for jobs.

Anybody acting like the Gamepass price drop was a treat for gamers, is out of their mind. They raised the price to get the quarterly earnings up for Phil's exit and now get to 'drop' it to try to bring gamers back. Customers are always going to be the lowest regarded part of the business, period.

I'm guessing a lot of studio closures and project cancellations are coming. Bring in a fresh nobody to swing the axe and shield Phil's legacy.

Waited a decade for Routine. Hope it isn't a flop!

Of course it's ASUS; had Microsoft been solely responsible for this, it would have been cancelled.

Cancel GP and initiate a chargeback with your credit issuer. Hit them directly in their own wallet.

You know it's a sad turn out when a roadmap has to show the past games, just to fill it out.

I have a feeling that Rare is sweating profusely. The minute that SoT stops making money...

Whatever it is will likely get cancelled before release.

Seems to me that Microsoft just rounds up prototype names so they have a nice powerpoint slide filled with logos to show off at games related shows, and avoid looking like fools.

Only to turn around... and look like fools anyway.
