Avowed, Terminator 2D No Fate, and Eriskholm still on my to-do list.
My top 3:
Blue Prince (really people, try it out).
South of Midnight: combats are actually challenging at highest difficulty.
Commandos Origins: not on the list, but loved how it captured the spirit of the very first two games.
My biggest disappointments of the year:
Atomfall: it's just incredibly boring...
The Outer Worlds 2: I really liked the first one, but this one feels more like an extension, doesn't really bring anything new, and not as fun.
The Alters: I loved the idea, but it turned out quite disappointing, I was expecting more freedom.
Hollow Knight Silksong: I wasn't that convinced by the first one - sure, it looked beautiful, and I love metroidvanias but it just didn't do it for me, level design is meh and game is way too easy (making me losing interest very quickly). With Silksong in the same vein and even easier, it was definitely a letdown for me.
Clair Obscur: ready for another backlash after the previous one Ok so the hype was so big that when I finally had my hands on the game I was like... "Really, all that for that?" Yeah sure story-wise it's something but if I wanted to watch a movie I would have done so. When it comes to gameplay (or the little there is) it's just not my thing... even though I love turn-based games, but here mechanics are so dull.
