I have to ask - did this game ever stand a chance?
1. Brand new studio given absurd amount of money with the expectation that they make "the world's first AAAA game". No other coherent design philosophy or past experience that glues the team together. 2. Modern games don't have brand attachment to Perfect Dark. Fans of the game are at least in their 40s now, it's like 25yrs old. Only a small percentage of those fans are attached enough to the game that. 3. Go en that nobody involved in the original is attached to the project, choosing Perfect Dark just smacks of "we need the money".
This game was probably gonna be good but would hardly have justified the stupid amounts of money sank into it.
