Four 'Areas Of Improvement' Are Already Being Worked On For Forza Horizon 6

We're only a few days into the life of the ultra-successful Forza Horizon 6, and the development team have already outlined four areas of improvement they're working on!

The big one here relates to Drivatars. There's been feedback from fans over the past few days that Drivatars are too difficult on higher settings and too aggressive, and while Playground Games hasn't committed to making any specific changes yet, they've confirmed they're currently investigating what to do about it.

Drivatar AI Balance – We've heard from you that sometimes our AI opponents are too fast to compete with, especially at higher difficulty levels. As we investigate, we will monitor your feedback and review our data, coming back to you with an update once we have something concrete to share.

The other three are all for people who are playing Forza Horizon 6 on PC, focusing on concerns around performance issues on AMD graphics cards, audio crackling, and various crashes and errors.

Fortunately, none of these have been issues in the Xbox Series X or Series S versions of the game so far.

PC Framerate on AMD GPUs – We're aware of performance issues on AMD graphics cards, and we are working on fixes to improve overall framerate. Your feedback around how the game is running on your system will help us to find additional optimizations, so continue to leverage the Forza Feedback Portal to share your experiences with us.

PC Audio Crackling – We’re investigating a potential fix for audio crackling when playing the game on some PC hardware configurations.

PC Crashes and Invalid Loading Errors – We've been reading your reports about some of the crashes and errors you are encountering in the PC version of Forza Horizon 6. We've already released a hotfix that makes improvements to the Invalid Loading errors, and we're continuing to work on additional fixes that will be rolled out in future updates. Some of the crashes we’ve observed are from hardware that fall below our minimum supported PC specs or unsupported operating systems.

The developer says that in addition to all of this, they're also working on Festival Playlists, the Italian Passion Car Pack for July, both of the game's upcoming expansions and the PS5 release for later in 2026, while they've encouraged fans to submit their other requests via the Forza Feedback Portal to "help shape the future of the game".

And by the way, it seems like FH6 is making an absolute fortune for Xbox right now! The folks over at Alinea Analytics are suggesting it's sold around 5 million copies so far (with Playground Games already confirming that six million people have played it), and Xbox players appear to have accounted for 42% of those sales, even though the game launched into Xbox Game Pass this past Tuesday.

We'll leave you with their infographic down below, and we'll let you know when FH6 gets more major updates.
