Xbox Console Updates Continue As New 'Cloud Save Sync' Indicator Rolls Out To Insiders

We've talked this month about how pleasantly surprised we've been with the new features that have arrived specifically for Xbox consoles, and we've got another one rolling out today to Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead Xbox Insiders!

This is a "cloud save sync" indicator that's going to be visible when viewing the Game Card tile on any game you like, revealing the current status of your game save. This should be particularly useful when bouncing from one platform to another (like PC to your Xbox console), ensuring your save has correctly synced between them.

You can see an example of how this works in the image and video below:

This is a feature that's been available on PC and the ROG Xbox Ally since late November, so we always expected it to make its console debut eventually, and it's nice to see it getting implemented in this latest Xbox Insider update.

In terms of when it'll be available for everyone, we assume it'll make its way beyond the Insider program in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out — it should start appearing in the Game Card section for your games in the very near future.
