Cyberpunk 2077 made its Xbox Game Pass debut last week after years of DLC, updates and support from developer CD Projekt RED, and the company has now confirmed that it has "no plans" for any more big expansions to the game.
Taking to social media on the day of its Xbox Game Pass launch, CDPR responded to a fan query about about future DLC. "We have no plans for additional DLCs or expansions" the team wrote, as major development on the sci-fi RPG appears to have definitively wrapped up.
Now, as our friends over at Nintendo Life pointed out, this isn't the first time CDPR has said something like this - but with the recent Switch 2 launch and last week's Xbox Game Pass addition, there's been renewed focus on this particular title in recent months. It's worth a quick reminder that this is still the team's stance on new DLC in 2026, then!
Of course, that doesn't mean that we won't get smaller updates and patches - there was a chunky one of those last September on Xbox, just to name one. CD Projekt RED is also hard at work on both a sequel and The Witcher 4 these days, so they've got plenty going on in terms of future development!
