Forza Horizon 6 is roughly three months away at this stage, and as the teams at Xbox and Playground Games build towards the game's upcoming launch, they've shown off a bunch of Horizon Japan's biomes and locations in all of their current-gen glory.
Indeed, Horizon heads to the famous Asian nation this year, and this is looking like one of the most beautiful and varied Forza Horizon maps to date. The five biomes shown off so far are Plains, Coast, Alpine Region, Lowlands and Highlands - and we'll share each video and their accompanying descriptions down below:
Plains
"Nothing flat about exploring these plains! Take a look at the waterbodies, plants, and roads you’ll discover in your adventures through Japan."
Coast
"There’s something so special about Japanese coastlines, we hope you are as excited as we are to visit them!"
Alpine Region
"Snow is also making a comeback in Forza Horizon 6. The Alpine region will be covered in white during all four seasons!"
Lowlands
"You can see the topographic variety of Japan when the road starts to rise at the Lowlands."
Highlands
"Forza Horizon 6 has our most elevated map to date, enjoy climbing hills and mountains in the Highlands."
There's of course the Tokyo City region in the game as well which hasn't gotten its own video just yet, and the team summaries this new location breakdown by adding that "every biome features distinctive vegetation and elevation. Seasonal weather affects them all differently, too!"
